Getting a personalized brick in the Beaches Town Center is a great gift idea, or a nice way to commemorate a special occasion, all while doing a good thing for our beaches community.

I got my husband a brick for Christmas many years ago, to celebrate our move to the beach. It has our last name and the date we moved to Atlantic Beach. You can find our brick near Poe’s Tavern.

Be a Part of the Beaches Town Center

The Beaches Town Center is the heart of Atlantic and Neptune Beaches, known for its tree-lined streets, great shops and restaurants, and a welcoming atmosphere for pedestrians and vehicles.

The wide brick sidewalks that run through the Town Center have more than 4,000 personalized bricks located in the central business districts of Atlantic and Neptune Beach.

The funds raised through the Annual Brick-Paver Program are used by the Beaches Town Center Agency, a non-profit organization, to maintain the beautification projects around BTC.

The BTC is responsible for all the flowers and landscaping, and holiday decorations. So, these bricks help keep it all the going.

You get to choose the location of the brick and add a couple lines of text.

Once you purchase your brick, it will probably be a while before it goes into the sidewalk. They do them in batches of around 50 bricks at a time, so they cannot guarantee an installation date.

It was a while ago that I got our brick, but I feel like I remember there being a certificate I printed out so I could give it as a gift. I may have made it myself…I can’t recall.
