Kitchen Wall Upgrade: White Subway Tiles

Our latest home project is upgrading our plain kitchen walls with white subway tiles. I know this was trendy several years ago, so we are late on the trend, but who cares? It still looks good.

We’re using Festival Glazed White Ceramic tile from Lowe’s, in the 3″x6″ size. I was unable to find them on the Lowe’s website to recommend, but found comparable ones on Amazon: White Subway Tile

In between the tiles is a gray grout. Sean is cutting the tiles with his fancy new Kobalt tabletop tile saw, which is making this job a lot easier. We have an old wonky house where nothing is level and that includes the ceiling and floors. So, there’s always a lot of cutting and adjusting involved on any project that needs to look even.

The walls are coming along nicely! We’ve also added some new wall outlets with USB ports that I love!

I’ll share more pics when it’s all finished and cleaned up.
